About us

The International Federation of the Blue Cross (IFBC) is a non-denominational and non-political umbrella organisation. There are currently 40 member organisations based mainly in Europe, Africa, Brazil and India. The IFBC headquarters are in Switzerland.

As a global network community, the Federation supports its member organisations in building up their competence in the field of alcohol- and substance abuse related problems. In collaboration with our partners, we promote the exchange of knowledge and create opportunities for our members to share their experience by developing multi-national projects, transfer of knowhow and project-based partnerships.

IFBC is an active member of EUROCARE.
